I studied Business, I love dealing with people, the more people I get to talk to in a day, the happier I am. I wanted to work in human resources, but they wouldn’t give me a job anywhere because I had no experience. I took a job in Quality Control translating the process manuals. I got so familiarized with everything they made me technical writer, then they made me quality inspector, and now I am a production coordinator. I got promoted so much in 3 years, it made other people with engineering degrees jealous. I’m really good at what I do, but that doesn’t mean I like it. I still want to be in human resources, I’ve gone to many job interviews these past 3 years, but I still have no experience, no one seems to want to give me a job in that area, and now I’m used to making good money to just start working at some low-paying position. How can I get started in human resources, and still make what I’m making right now?

I have an interview in the next couple days for a Life Enhancement Coordinator position. I am hoping for something a little more office oriented to go with my referenced but definitely do not mind doing some moving. I guess I am asking if anyone has a better idea of what the position is so when I go into the interview I have a better idea. The internet is not helping. Thanks.

I'm trying to figure out what the title would be of the job that the agents do in Criminal Minds. I thought that Forensic Psychologist would be close because they analyze the behavior of the criminals in order to predict future crimes. But after researching it says that that profession usually just appears in court to help people's cases. Also, what college majors would support this?

Hello, I’m thinking of going to school for film production and as I was doing some research, a question popped up that I couldn’t find an answer to: how do movie directors and producers get jobs? And also, I’m starting to wonder the same thing about screenwriters and editors. Thank you in advance.

BTW I am aware that there is no such job a a "Profiler" like on the show. I just want to know if Behavioral Analysists actually get to go on the job and carry guns, and I want know if the job is boring or not. Thanks.

Here is the thing. I get the feeling I should be. I had an internship over the summer but i just get the feeling im not doing enough. I'm not lazy! My school doesn't really tell students about the industry we're going into. Sure I get good training and education, but thats all. How many internships should i have before i graduate? How many jobs that are actually in the field im studying?

Went in for an interview for an IT position. Passed their background and drug screening, and got invited for 2nd interview. Obviously, I am in the small pool of applicants they narrowed down. The 1st interview was with the recruiting coordinator at HR, and seems like the 2nd interview will be with the people from IT dept that I'll be working with if I get the job. Now, if there's anything I need at least at this stage in my life, it's this job. Anyone can give me any helpful tips on how I should approach this 2nd interview to increase my chance of getting the job? Should I take any different approches than in the 1st interview? I need the job.

I am entering my senior year of my BS in computer science so its starting to hit me that the real world is just around the corner. I still don't know exactly what I want to do with my degree. I am decent at coding but it is not something I really enjoy doing. I am real interested in getting an MBA degree so I could maybe do IT management or something like that at some point. If you have a degree in CS would you mind telling me what your job is, what a normal day is like, and if you don't mind your yearly salary as well? Thanks!
