A Safety Manager has stopped our job on the mine, as the work instruction only states that a flashback arrestor must be used with any gas burning/cutting equipment. As we are using LPG gas to perform waterproofing, i tried to explain to him that there isnt a specific flashback arrestor for LPG on the market. However, he wants proof of why there isnt, and why i can be allowed to continue without the arrestor. I also need to write a letter in application for consession. Any advice would be helpful.

I just got a job as a Safety Manager/ Instructor in the state of Michigan. I was wondering if this is enough. I am currently 19. I will be 20 on the 26, I am unmarried and have no kids. Am I set? Any ideas how I could invest this wisely? Edit: Is this sufficient for my housing needs for a year? Should I live in an apartment or buy a house? I'm scared :P

My story is about 4 miners that are trapped underground, the reason they is trapped is because the one of the 4 men is a safety manager and he let them go into the cage without taking any safety precautions which then cause the cage to break and fall to the bottom of the mine. The only character I have mentioned is John who is the youngest of the four. I am writing my story in the perspective of the safety manager. I want to write a twist for the end of my story but I cannot think of an interesting one any advice and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Well I am searching for something for a friend who has a contract ending with her current job soon. She could renew the contract, but the location is far away from home and it's been a little hard. You know companies like Mitsubishi and Isuzu and Toyota who have cafeterias (hot, homemade food) inside? That's kind of what she does.. she prefers the privacy and safety of being a cook inside of a corporate company rather than somewhere like Olive Garden or wherever. Do any of you know where I could get some leads for jobs like that in Orange County? I tried to search for it on Monsters, but it's hard to describe, and the results come out to places like hotels and other things. She wants to own the cafeteria itself (underneath the company, of course) and be a worker as well as the manager. It's most likely a small business. Her work experience is pretty good, but it's a matter of the environment.. (she is described as a restaurant/cafeteria manager) anything would be help!
