| I am currently employed as a structural automotive engineer at one of the big 3 carmakers. I've specialized in exterior sheet metal deformation along with evaluating the structural integrity of the underlying metal skeleton. I have also been heavily involved with exterior plastic components such as fascia, bumpers and body side moldings.
Outside of crash testing, what other types of engineering jobs exist in the car insurance industry? Could it be used to determine whether a damaged vehicle is salvageable?

| I'm graduating college this semester and have been looking for a job that is an entry level network engineer job and I can't find any. I have a CCNA, but I'm now wondering if that is enough. Where are the entry level network engineer jobs and is a CCNA enough for them? If not, what else is required?
So without experience, you can't even get an entry level job?

| I know there are more than one computer engineer in the military but what kind of engineering jobs deal with things such as your everyday computer to a supercomputer (the hardware of computers in general). I would like to join the USAF one day and do something like this.

| Hi,
I graduated this year with a CS degree. I did an internship with a very good company X as developer on system side, but because of the recession i couldn't get an offer from this company. I am right now working as a Quality Assurance (Testing) Engineer in another company. I am completely confused as to what to do. Should I continue my present job or look out for opportunities (at this time of recession) ?

| I live in Glendale, AZ. I am currently employed at the same place were I have been for 15 years. I work as a software developer/test engineer.
I interned into my job. I only have an AAS, and not a BS.
Everything has changed in all that time. I do not even know how a job search works these days.

Not like engineering jobs, medical jobs, etc.
Ex-Jehovah witnesses usually have trouble keeping certain types of jobs because they need their mind to recover

If I start applying froa Immigrant visa programme to Australia, how good would be that? | I have been accepted to rensselaer polytechnic institue for architecture. I want to minor in civil engineering so that I may get a civil engineering job after college. Can I still recieve the title as a civil engineer if I only minor in civil engineering?

| I want a job working with my hands, building engines, something like that. I read mechanical engineers do mostly sketches of things, which is not what I would want to do. If they do not, what is an engineering job where I would work with my hands? Also, I speak Spanish and English, should I learn another language, and if so, which one?
O yeah, I forgot, I would like to be working in the aviation field, like engines for planes, helicopters, jets. Also maybe like missile systems, but I don't know anything about that.

| When i went to go talk to my recruiter, they tell me that we have engineering jobs available and that i needed to take the test on this day before the job opening closes. is that true?? i just want the truth i don't want to join thinking i have this really important job and end up painting the ships.
