How do I get Computer Technician in training job? I'm in the beginning of my switching-carriers journey and need advice how to start it. I want to become a professional PC technician and currently working on my A+ certification. Im learning remotely and then just planing to take a test to get certified. Assuming I obtain the certification. I don't think I will be comfortable to work on my own or to apply for a job with no experience. Does anything like "learn and work" or something like that exist in IT world? Like starting working somewhere lets say for much less salary/profit or even for free to get the experience by shadowing a professional? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I'm in college now and going for a business management degree but recently I've taken a liking to PC repair and have been taking some electives on it. The only job I can think of to get some experience under my belt is with Best Buy's Geek Squad but even they require 6 months experience. I'm just looking to get some experience. Does anyone know of any other jobs or companies that I can look into in order to get into this career field?

I am currently being trained as a Pharmacy Technician in a Job Corps program in Kansas City, MO and I'm planning to relocate to California upon completion of the program. Once I'm finished, I'll be certified to work in the state of Missouri. I've looked at the California State Board of Pharmacy website and it's confusing me and giving me mixed answers. My question is: What do I have to do in order to transfer my training hours/experience and certification/license to California? Do I have to take one of their tests in order to be certified in that state? Or do I just apply for a certification and automatically get a certification or license to work in California given the amount of time, training hours and experience that I have?

I was thinking about getting a degree to become one. I already have an Associate of Science in Biology and am about to take my certification test for Pharmacy technician. I have read that you have to have a degree in some sort of health field before you can become an ultrasound tech. Is this true?

Also, the kind of things you have to do, and kind of money you can earn? Thanks.

Like where you design the prototypes, get them made and then work out the kinks to make them consumer ready?? I always see improvements in electronic devices and I would love to work for a firm where you work on items such as cellphones, GPS devices and other expensive electronic devices. What is this kind of job called and what kind of education do you need?

I had a little bit of blood drawn for a fasting glucose test Friday morning. It hurt as bad as most shots, and soon after I had a dark bruise and a little swelling. Bruise has spread a bit but is still very dark purple. Will this lead to scar tissue and future difficulty drawing blood from the vein, or should it all recover like it was? I do blood donations so I need good veins.
