I paid for a home apprasal because my loan Officer said I was good. After it was done & i put down a deposit for escrow... the loan agent underwriter said i was disapproved for a loan. How can that be when they assured me i would be good. I asked for a refund and they refused. the loan agent simply said it was my fault although he went into my account & took out my money. he gave me approval letter for amount not for Loan approval. Do i have a good chance of getting my $ back in small claims?

I am currenly in Escrow, trying to sell my home. However, I have a horrible agent and the buyers are not taking any action. It's been a week and a half and nothing has happend (we're in a 20 day escrow). We don't even have a prequal letter or anything... I already signed a "Buyer's to Perfom" letter giving the buyers 72 hours to remove the contingencies. However, my horrible agent is telling me that it doesn't matter and these buyers could have us in Escrow as long as they want. I need help, my husband and I are sick of it all and want to cancel Escrow and not even sell our home anymore because of all the headaches. Someone please help us. We need to go above our agent's head and try to cancel escrow!! Is there any way for this to happen and if so, what's the procedure?

I am currently doing post-secondary education in Montreal, Quebec, but I am interested in commercial real estate. I wanted to know how I go about getting my license, as well as which province would be best in terms of competition and salary. I believe I have the social and work skills required for this job.

I have been selling furniture for a few years and have done very well. It is 100?ommission and I enjoy it but I am looking for a more advanced form of selling. Ive always had an interest in real estate especially commercial. My question is what education do most firms look for? What classes should be taken in college for this career? Will my background in sales help me when it comes time to get a job?

We're just beginning our home buying journey, just spoke a realtor, starting to look at homes at this week, etc.. Very early in the game still. At what point should we get a real estate attorney? And what should we expect from one? Do they walk you through the fine print, can I expect him/her to be available to answer any questions I may have? Or are their services limited to just the closing? Please feel free to offer any additional information in regards to a real estate attorney and what their job includes.. Thank you.

The 72 hours the seller gets will be due this monday BUT she is not packed or has a place to stay and I haven't been contacted about making a rental agreement, neither has she provided me with a date where she will be. We're using a 203K loan to rehab a property, but we are being told by the contractors that it is illegal for them to enter the property before we close escrow. The problem is that we need a job bid to submit to the lender so they can draw up the loan with an exact amount.Coincedentally, the real estate agent says she knows someone who can do the work (how convienient), but we still want a second opinion to make sure we're getting our moneys worth.

I'm interested in staying in England for a year or so and I'd like to rent a flat. Is it possible to rent a place in England without a job as long as I have a lot of money as proof and the proper references? I'm not interested in locating there through a specific scheme. I'm just mainly interested in a long-term vacation but don't want to rent holiday accomodation.

I am a first time home buyer and money is not the issue as I have a good job. I just don't know what else there is to it. How do I go about getting a loan, how much paperwork is involved, and what scams should I watch out for? I just want to buy a small home for myself. What should I be aware of? I am not asking in the real estate section as I know they will not inform me of their scams.

(hoping to get a lower price). And what do you think it would be a reasonable offer for a condo (REO property), listed for 450k in Northern CA (1400 sq ft) considering I intend to use the same real estate agent as the seller (which is the bank that owns now the property) and that I realy like the unit. thanks a lot.

I'm a notary and loan signing agent. I used to do loan signings for a realtor, but he's not in business anymore. How do I find more signing jobs? Should I go directly to real estate companies and offer my services, or is there a referral service?

2 years ago I was laid off from my job as a consultant and began a career in the business side of the entertainment industry hoping to become an agent or manager. I can no longer afford to live making less than minimum wage anymore and would like to go back to my old field of IT, finance or business. How do I explain that in my cover letter? Then in interviews? Thank you in advance.

What should a fico be at? income requirements, job info, bank account should be at what...etc etc...I would like to know basically everything there is to know before I go to get pre approved for a home and how to maintain the payment and not go into foreclosure. is there sales tax in home buying? like the list price is 180k, but with tax it would be 200k, or do you just pay 180k and that's it?
