I'm currently a junior in high school. Next year due to a relocation of my family i will be moving to a different school. My question is, since there's no way that my teachers can get to know me that well early on in my senior year can i ask my teachers from my current school to write me a recommendation letter for college? If so what are the rules on recommendation letter? Can anyone write them as long as they're job relates to some kind of education? And if i did get my current teachers to write me one would i have to list the previous school so if the college needs to contact them they can do so through the school itself? Thanks for the answers in advance!

I've heard that sociology isn't really the best major to go into. Something about it doesn't offer many jobs once you get your degree, especially if you don't have a Masters. Is this true? I've been doing alot of research on colleges with sociology as my major, and dance/psychology as minors. Would it be be a better idea to major in psychology and minor in dance and sociology?
