REO Manager Job Questions & Answers

My residential real estate business collapsed after 5 years. I have scads of experience negotiating contracts, managing customers, and publishing marketing materials...yet I haven't received one interview based on this skill set of 3 years of looking for work. I'm wondering where other realtors have found success? Administration? Inside sales? Property management? Project management? I have been floundering and would love to hear other's stories, to give my job search more direction stat.

With SO many foreclosures on the market and hundreds more every day, WHY are the REO's so expensive and hard to negotiate with? Quite often that county's property appraiser's office will show what the note was bought for and the resale price is quite hefty! I tried to negotiate with Fanny Mae TWICE on 2 different properties and they stubbornly held to their selling price of 3 times over the foreclosed amount! This was BEFORE the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac collapse! No pity for them here! To: monkeypb...I thought Freddie Mac AND Fannie Mae DID get bailed out?

With 7?f mortgages delinquent, I have to believe that banks have tons of cheap homes to sell. I am a new home buyer with prefect credit, good well paying job. I would like to take advantage of home crisis, but don't want to deal with the real estate industry, as I find real estate agents and mortgage brokers super shady and unethical. Basically, I want to get approved by a bank and then just pick a house from their inventory. We would both save by cutting out the over priced middle men (agents and brokers). Has anyone heard of such a program? Like nist real estate people you are all stupid. I founf the answer myse3lf that proved you are all stupid. We all blame banks for the current downturn, I blame mindless real estate whiores, try this website to avoid the bloodsuckers..... http://www.reoreferral.com./ real esate people are stupid and scum, the modern version of usde car salesman

Okay so here's the big issue, and i need professional advice! I wanted to buy a house, the "owner" of the house had gotten the house through an auction, and still had not put the house under her name. She wanted to sell the house within a certain time so the person buying the house (me) can just put the house under my name. Except, that didnt happen on time, so the bank i guess.. took the house off the market.. BUT ITS NOT SOLD YET, and they said that they will be putting it back on the market...soon... but they dont know when. Now i desperately want to buy the house, is there anyway i can contact someone so that i could put it in writing about how much im offering and stuff so they dont put it back on the market and just sell the house to me ? I have a real estate agent, except the real estate agent is sleeping on the job. PLEASE HELP!! IM DESPERATE

This past weekend I found a home that was forclosed on last year. I went out and looked at it before I called my real estate agent. I liked the property and I told my agent I want to make an offer, the bank has had this property over a year and I think I may be able to get it at a good price. She called the listing agent and he told her that the bank has decided to relist the property with another agent. How can I find out who the new agent will be or what bank owns it so I can make an offer before it is relisted? I am not sure if the original agent would give up this info. since he will not be getting a commision from the sell.
