I wanted to apply for a real estate job, but sinse the age of 16 all i was doing is delivering pizza and waitering? what kind of simple jobs , that a real estate company might considere important i should put on my resume? lol the only reason i got so many answers is because i misspelled resume, and everybody had to put in their 2 cents about my spelling, with some advice, because you cant just tell me im stupid without answering my question, i guess its just human nature to put down other people to feel better about themselves

I am wanting to get my real estate license and move to Atlanta (from Athens) but are there any real estate jobs in Atlanta that don't require experience? I don't want to waste the money if I can't find work. I've looked online and the results have been a little depressing but I'm not that good at web searches.

I'm wondering if anyone knows why there has been an increase in real estate job postings even though there is a decline in real estate being sold. Is it simply because the real estate agents have left their jobs for something better, or are the real estate companies hiring more people to prepare for the demand they foresee later, or something else I'm overlooking. Thanks.

I am in college and getting my real estate license. I want to get internships and a real estate job however, in this economy I know no one will hire me at my age with no experience and in this awful market. I want to focus on commercial real estate but I feel I should start in residential. What is your opinion and how do I go about starting the company COMPLETELY legal and coming up with a name. My last name is Brown so I figured maybe something to do with that.

I am about to start looking for a real estate salesperson job, but my credit rating is a little sketchy and I'm worried about whether the agencies in NYC tend to do credit checks on their employees. Otherwise, I have no criminal record and can provide good work/personal references. Responses on your company policies re: employee credit checks from those working in Manhattan would be appreciated, however if you're located elsewhere and can tell me about your hiring, it would be welcomed and greatly appreciated as well. Thanks! The reason why I asked is because in my real estate classes I got the impression that when the renter signs the lease, they hand off to me a commission check for the broker to deposit and pay out, as opposed to having to deal with escrow accounts for earnest $$, etc. in traditional sales in which I wouldn't deal with any physical money until the broker pays me. Thanks again for the replies.

Do people really make that much in Real Estate? Can someone please advise about going into Real Estate in New York. I want a career that pays well and hopefully has stability too.
