 | Hi, I'm a fresh graduate and still thinking on whether to pursue career in financial or investment analyst job. The thing is I really like analyzing financial statement of a company and love valuing whether the price is cheap or not and make an investment on it especially on a long term basis. But I hate dealing with complex statistical datas and econometrics.
So is there any analyst or other job that allow me to do these things that I love without having to deal with all those statistical datas and econometrics on trend, macroeconomics, etc and still earn good earnings?
Please share with me your expert advice, opinion as well as where to get the job on this matter. I'm really grateful for your kind help.

 | I know that you can get almost any job with a Mathematics degree, and I also that Mathematics graduates have the LOWEST levels of UNEMPLOYMENT, but which jobs can they get exactly?
Specific details please?
I know that you can be a maths teacher/lecturer, and that's obvious, but I really don't want to go into teaching.
I also know that you can have a job in Finance and Accounting, but they are also obvious.

| I've always been good at analyzing concepts, making decisions, and deciphering statistics, while highly complex math is neither a skill nor something I enjoy doing. I have a high GPA, but I would quickly rise to incompetence if I stayed in the mathematical areas.
What kinds of econ or related jobs may suit these skills?

| It seems very coincidental that gas prices rose exponentially as the Bush term went on, and now are suddenly falling to their original numbers in its few last weeks. The hawkishness and false reasons for the start of the Iraq War, and the record profits of Exxon add even more of a "foul smell". Can you provide some specific proof one way or another?

| As a young engineer, given my interest in equity markets, any skills I need to practice on? Say, pricing of Options (B&S etc) ?
Also, which programming languages must I be familiar with? Will C be sufficient, or must I study also VC++/JAVA? Which one is preferred?

| Basically I'm a double major with these 2 degrees and will be graduating and was wondering what the best opportunities were. I would like to make a good wage, but I am having trouble marketing myself in a way which I can command a higher wage because of my 2 degrees. Basically the essence of these degrees combined boil down to- stick me in your supply chain and I will provide more efficiency. Can anyone think of job titles though? Thank you.
