How do I get into Walmart Assistant management training?

Ok, so here's the rundown on me. I started working at 16, and stayed with the job for approximately 4.5 years, at a local grocery retail store. I just recently started a job as a garden center sales associate at the local Walmart Supercenter, which began in March of 2009. I've nearly been there one year, and this month I graduate with an associate arts degree, and will continue on to get my Bachelors degree in business. How would I go about getting into the program? I know some about the Tactical Learning Assessment test, but I don't know if there is literature to study prior to taking it. I've asked my department manager about it, and she seems very unhelpful for whatever reason, in helping me pursue the desire to get into the program. I'm just wondering what I can do, I'm determined and have a plan, I just don't know what the key is to the lock, so to speak.

Any helpful information would GREATLY be appreciated, and please, no Walmart-haters need reply. I just need helpful and valid information, from anyone who knows or has the inside scoop. Thanks!!!

If your managers won't help you it is probably because she feels threatened by your ambition Wal-marts are everywhere and you could simply ask a manager at a different walmart.
