I am a new employee. One of my counterparts with the same title tries to boss me around. I cordially do not let her. Yet, she cries and cries to anyone who listens that i dont like her...that I am mean to her...that I make her feel 'uncomfortable'...yada yada yada... And she just told our regional director this! Should I just ignore it? Confront her? Or talk to the director?

A. 1.Restore America’s Naval Credibility: Announce an initiative to increase the naval shipbuilding rate from nine per year to approximately fifteen per year and sustain the carrier fleet at eleven. This will restore America’s presence and credibility on the high seas with a view toward deterring aggressive behavior and maintaining the peace. 2.Strengthen and Repair Relationships with Steadfast Allies: Take swift measures to restore and enhance relationships with our most steadfast allies. Actions include reaffirming as a vital national interest Israel’s existence as Jewish state, declaring the U.S.-U.K. special relationship to be a foundation for peace and liberty, and beginning talks to strengthen cooperation with Mexico on the shared problem of drugs and security. 3.Enhance Our Deterrent Against Iran: Reaffirm that Iran’s possession of a nuclear weapon is unacceptable. Order the regular presence of a carrier task force in both the Eastern Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf region. Begin discussions with Israel to increase levels of military and intelligence coordination and assistance. 4.Commit to a Robust National Missile Defense System: Begin process of reversing Obama-era budget cuts to national missile defense and raise to a top priority the full deployment of a multilayered national ballistic-missile defense system. 5.Establish a Single Point of Responsibility for All Soft Power Resources in the Middle East: Work with Congress and relevant Executive branch agencies to organize all diplomatic and assistance efforts in the greater Middle East under one Regional Director with unified budgetary and directive authority. One official with responsibility and accountability will set regional priorities and direct our soft power toward ensuring the Arab Spring realizes its promise. 6.Launch Campaign for Economic Opportunity in Latin America: Capitalize on the benefits arising from the pending ratification of the Colombian and Panamanian free trade agreements to launch a robust public-diplomacy and trade promotion campaign in Latin America that contrasts the benefits of democracy, free trade, and economic opportunity with the ills caused by the authoritarian model of Venezuela and Cuba. 7.Conduct a Full Review of Our Transition in Afghanistan: Conduct a full interagency review of our military and assistance presence in Afghanistan to determine the presence necessary to secure our gains and successfully complete our mission. The review will involve discussions with generals on the ground and the delivery of the best recommendations of our military commanders. 8.Order Interagency Initiative on Cybersecurity: Order a full interagency initiative to formulate a unified national strategy to deter and defend against the growing threats of militarized cyber-attacks, cyber-terrorism, cyber-espionage, and private-sector intellectual property theft. U.S. defense and intelligence resources must be fully engaged in this critical aspect of national defense. B. * Make securing our borders the top national security priority. * Avoid long and expensive land wars that bankrupt our country by using constitutional means to capture or kill terrorist leaders who helped attack the U.S. and continue to plot further attacks. * Guarantee our intelligence community’s efforts are directed toward legitimate threats and not spying on innocent Americans through unconstitutional power grabs like the Patriot Act. * End the nation-building that is draining troop morale, increasing our debt, and sacrificing lives with no end in sight. * Follow the Constitution by asking Congress to declare war before one is waged. * Only send our military into conflict with a clear mission and all the tools they need to complete the job – and then bring them home. * Ensure our veterans receive the care, benefits, and honors they have earned when they return. * Revitalize the military for the 21st century by eliminating waste in a trillion-dollar military budget. * Prevent the TSA from forcing Americans to either be groped or ogled just to travel on an airplane and ultimately abolish the unconstitutional agency. * Stop taking money from the middle class and the poor to give to rich dictators through foreign aid.

Hello I was told 3 weeks ago now that we are on notice of impending redundancy. We have been told that a opeing at another depot is available for every memeber of staff. The position would involve me travelling for 4 hours a day and leaving me unable to care for my children and pet dog. As of such i ahd to turn the role down. It has now come to light that i am the only person unable to take up the other role (£700 pounds of travel expenses a month to £950 pay packet) Last week my Manager pulled me up on some supposed errors these were not my errors as was proven by emails which I forwarded him. While in a ‘meeting’ with him where only me and him were in attendance he told me he would have me out of here by the end of the day. Obviously having already been told that I will be being made redundant I am already stressed and fragile. During the time that we have been waiting to hear about our redundancy I have had similar threats, the manager has made it difficult to work here The admin who has a personal friendship with manager has also been making this difficult on Thursday of last week being sat across from me stating that she does not need a job anyway she could have more money on all her insurances. Several times now she has pointed out that she is going on a very expensive holiday to Dubai while I can not afford to even purchase lunch. Thursday she sat across from me with a calendar stating on which days she thinks I will end up out of a job mentioning that she will be moving straight to the new role after her holiday. Ultimately this led to me needing some time off on Friday of last week after being in tears several times Yesterday I received a call from employment agency while at work I took my self into a separate room and closed the door to speak about the job they were putting me forward at a construction company who is one of our customers. I had a discussion with them about our privacy clause which I then asked out of the loop collegue advise at this point I have not even spoken to the construction company as I was concerned about breaching the clauses work have stated about our branch closures. The administrator today has stated several times that she has been listening in on my calls, saying at one point she does not think I am qualified enough to do these jobs, something she is not aware of as she does not know anything about my qualifications. I spoke to our Regional trading director a short while ago and asked what I should say to the construction company on my interview. Once off the phone to the RTD The administrator Accused me of all ready telling the construction company about our depot closures as she had been listening to my phone calls yesterday. When I told her that I hadn’t it was an employment agency she called me a liar, I pointed out at this point at 5pm yesterday I asked for x employees advise on what to say to the construction company, The administrator finishes work at 4.30pm so how could I possibly of said anything of the sort while she there She then stated again that I wouldn’t get the job, I am concerned she will start telling ‘tales’ to the construction company about me thus ruining my employment chances. She then stated that ill have no job at this rate, with all I have been saying on facebook. I have not send anything untoward on facebook nor mentioned the company name, i don't even state i work there, the profile I use doesn’t even use my real name. This was mentioned by the manager last week also, I then told her to stop trouble causing and stringing tales and to get her facts straight as i ahev the company staff members 'blocked' on facebook, she called Nthe RTD saying I was accusing her of saying things about my facebook usage, which she just had!!! The Manager then came into the office and immediately defended The administrator, as you would expect, she does bring him lunch everyday. I feel I am a victim here not only in my redundancy but also of these 2 staff members behaviour towards me. The admi is very confrontational towards me and realises she has upset me several times now going on about me losing my job and her having the great luck of having hers and actually being up on money. I want to keep my position here as long as possible as I have no other job to go to at this moment in time and also have my family to provide for, in saying that my mental and physical health is taking a battering due to their behaviour. I may put up a tough front but I am 22 year old girl and have never had to cope with this behaviour by people my senior in a workplace before. I want it to stop and for them to stop making a difficult situation harder still.
