Just out of interest what academic qualifications i.e. GCSEs, A-Levels, Btecs, Degrees, etc. would I need to enable me to become a regional sales manager in a major retail outlet, or maybe just a sales manager. Really interested please let me know, because this is the career path I would love to go down. I love people, loving talking, however I'm still in my final year of gcse study and was thinking to go through with sales when I leave college??

I've tried the usual corporate websites going directly through HR. I have almost 15 years experience on the retail side of auto sales - I even had a regional sales manager for Nissan submit my resume to Nissan with a reference and didn't even get a call! Is there someone who works for a manufacturer that could share their secret to getting a job?

Across CA for sure, but probably in other areas of the US too, voters are approving small increases in sales tax to fund major transportation project. Are you happy with how these projects are turning out? Do you think this is a good idea, in general? Any concerns that it is a regressive tax? Should gas tax be raised instead? Any other thought or ideas?

For the job? A personal letter, well worded to the CEO in NY? Or do you think this would be overstepping boundaries? Again, a worldwide major company, the position is somewhere else (where I live in America). The application process allowed for a cover letter which I submitted. But I really really want this job. So would it seem bold and courageous, or creepy and overstepping?

I'm thinking about going to a community college, and then transferring somewhere else. I'm wondering, what is it like to be a sales representative? Is it hard in college? What would I major in/what classes would I take? Is it easy to get a job in this field, or would there be a lot of competition? Anything else I would greatly appreciate!
