I'm currently a sales manager at a retail mattress company. I want to make a career change but I feel suck since my job experience is mostly sales. I recieved a bachelors in 03 and a masters in 05 (altheic administration) but since I didn't go work in my field of study the degree seems useless now. I'm good at sales but I really do not like the pressure, your only good as your last sale and there's no growth in my company. Can someone like myself in retail sales make a career change? If so what career's?

In large department stores - like Bloomingdales, Macy's, Barneys - what kind of jobs do they have available? Do such positions like floor managers exist and also, if two people were working in separate parts of the store (say, beauty and men's clothes), would there be 'higher' positions that they both could compete for and be promoted to? Not sure if that made any sense, but I'd greatly appreciate some help!

There always seems to be a long list, when viewing the credits displayed for a video game. What would be the minimum number of people, having an individual job title and skill, needed to create a video game . I am wondering what a team would have to consist of in completing such a project.

I have a background in education which includes teaching and administration. I lost my job almost 4 years ago and have not been able to get back into an education position since then. All I seem to be qualified for is sales. I have managed to get a part time job teaching at the college level, but all full time jobs seem to be closed doors. I am open to suggestions!

I don't want to be in school for 8 years but I want something with depth that can get me a good pay and fast. I have an Associate's degree and am currently a restaurant manager. The reason I posed this question was because I am working a tough 65+ hour schedule (including weekends and late nights) and I want something with better hours but high pay as well.

My residential real estate business collapsed after 5 years. I have scads of experience negotiating contracts, managing customers, and publishing marketing materials...yet I haven't received one interview based on this skill set of 3 years of looking for work. I'm wondering where other realtors have found success? Administration? Inside sales? Property management? Project management? I have been floundering and would love to hear other's stories, to give my job search more direction stat.
