 | I LOVE HISTORY! I barley passed all my other classes, but I got student of the year in history. I love it so much.
I want to be an archeologist. What other jobs could i have involving history?

 | I'm a junior in high school and I am trying to decide on a career I may want to do. Archaeology appeals to me a lot but I need more information about it. So I have a few questions and that would be great if someone could answer them!
What kind of college education does it take to become one?
Does every archaeologist have a job on a dig site? Or is it hard to get one?
Is it a lot of traveling if you get a job on a digsite? How long do they last?
What is a good college to attend for this?
If anyone has any other informations please share!!

| What are some jobs where I wouldn't be doing the same thing all the time, but the stress level is pretty low? Also it would be great if this job involved moving around, rather than sitting at a desk.

| I was going to go to college to major in Anthropology, but I was wondering if there are enough jobs so I would not be left with a degree and no where to go. So, I was wondering if there are a lot of jobs for Anthropologists?

 | I love to travel and learn new cultures. I like helping people and one day I want to join the Peace Corps. Someone recomended I get a degree in Anthropology. I just don't know what type of jobs I can get with this degree... ?

 | These jobs I both love! But I can't decide between one b./c then I realize there is something better about the other one. So.... I was wondering if it is possible have a career in both of these jobs. Also, it would be helpful if you give the estimated time about how long it takes to finish each of its many courses. | I know its somewhat of a broad question but basically I really like History, my favorite is history from Europe and Asia, etc, i really enjoy the illiad and stuff like that. Is there a "History" Major in college? Or is there a major similiar to it? Also what type of jobs could I get with this type of degree (Looking for BA) Would prefer not to be a teacher.

| Im very interested in History and Civilizations. I have considered getting my degree in anthropology but I am not sure what jobs would be available for such a degree. Both my counselor and some of my family says "no" "anthropology is only for rich kids that already have trust funds and such"
