 | I have a major in environmental studies and a minor in biology and a minor in environmental land-use planning. What types of careers can I get that would pay the most money? I was thinking something either with renewable energy and environmental policy or becoming an environmental planner. Open to any suggestions! P.S. I would like to own my own business one day.

 | I'm wanting to study something which will lead me to a fulfilling job which has something to do with protecting the environment. I have an arts degree, and I can do a postgraduate degree to become an environmental planner, and I know there are many jobs available. I am wondering - is it a fulfilling job for those that want to see the environment protected?? I am concerned about population growth in my area, whcih is booming.

 | I have taken a look at government website and I realized that most of environmental planning / environmental management jobs are temporary positions. I am not sure whether this is an usual job trend or not.
Is it easy to secure a permenant position at government with environmental planning degree?

 | Okay, so - my main goal is to do something to help the world/people/animals (like many people!) I considered becoming a doctor, but I am not sure that's for me. (Making decisions is not my strong point!) So, I have considered an environmental sciences major. Would this be practical? Would environmental engineering be better? ANY suggestions? I am interested in stuff like the Peace Corps.
The only problem with engineering is I don't really care how things work... I want to go out and make a difference.

 | My spouse is about to be a Traveling Occupational Therapist. This means we will be moved every six months to different states. We have the option of staying in one place for longer than that, but we would make more money moving every six months. I have a BS in Marine Science and i am a Licensed Veterinary Technician, but its going to be hard to get a job every six months for me. Does anyone know of a job or organization that would move me every six months also? THANKS SO MUCH!

 | I'm looking for a way to transfer my job experience as a teacher to find a career change. I'm just too nice and hate being stern all the time to be doing teaching. Some kids are wonderful but other's are brats that take advantage of one and I'm tired of fighting them. I'm organized, good planner, like environmental and social causes, love to travel, etc. Any ideas on how to make a career transition from teaching?
