Armed Guard Job Questions & Answers

If you have one armed guard, he could turn the gun on the kids. So you need at least 2. If you have 2 then the one could easily kill the first and then shoot. So you need at least 3. Perhaps you'd need 4 or five at least, and that is just for small schools. If a school has 1,000 kids, how many would you need to feel safe. Where would they be? In the school? In each classroom? Outside the school, outside the classrooms? Are people willing to pay for the number of armed guards that would be required, especially as the US is so prone to not wanting to pay for anything. Who would you hire to be a person who literally stands around in a school? How do you prevent nutters from getting jobs? You look at Afghanistan and see all the killings from Afghani soldiers on NATO forces and you have to wonder. QuiteNewHear: How many parents are going to want to give up a lot of their time on a consistent basis to carry guns around school? BlackCar: The US DOES have the resources to do a lot of things, but chooses not to. You know that the UK only just finished paying the US back (with interest) for WW2, the US made a killing over that bit of business. But what on earth does this have to do with the question? Typical tactic, attack people and not dealing with the actual issue at hand. So what do you have to say about the question then?

If their was an armed guard at that school, maybe that whacko wouldn't have even showed up. Too cowardly to face off with an armed guard most likely. Secondly, lots of people need jobs. Put them all into security training programs and then put them to work.

What legislative mechanism would NRA supporters propose to deal with the fallout when an armed security guard from a private sector security contractor shoots and kills an unarmed minority parent who was coming to the school to pick up their child because of a doctor's appointment or a death in the family? We all know that if armed security guards were placed in every school in the country this will happen eventually, and there's about a 99?hance that if it happens it'll be a white guard who has shot and killed a black parent.

Obama's girls school has ten armed guards even though the girls have Secret Service protection. Why is OK for his kids to have protection but not the rest of the kids in the country. And don't say cost liberals you guys are the ones constantly spending on stuff. Xpatinas..Most mass shooters are of the liberal persuasion McVeigh being an exception. Black Reaper..one big difference i didn't campaign for a job leading the nation and swear an oath to protect the nation that includes the kids. Me...got it his kids are more important. Also given current events the idea his kids are any more in danger is kinda just plain stupid is it not.

It's to stop the kids getting up to mischief like fights or graffiti. If we post armed guards with rifles all over schools then that will solve the problem. And it will also give some unemployed people some jobs.

You are far more likely to die in an automobile accident on your way to school than you are to die from a dangerous school shooter. Most politicians are not talking about securing school with armed guards. Most politicians are not talking about integrating the latest vehicle safety technology in all vehicles either. The USA should do a better job stopping the violent criminals and gangs in high crime areas. These people are the reason some people guns. Our movies, video games and TV shows glorify violence. Adam Lanza's favorite gun in the video game "Counterstrike," was the gun he used in the massacre. Banning any type of gun is not the answer to America's violence problem.

And video games. Did the NRA do a good job of hiding the fact that one in three school have armed guards and that Columbine school did too, the guard and the killer there exchanged fires. Will people forget that semi-automatic, which was once banned was used to kill the victims. Did the NRA shoot itself in the foot by indirectly blaming the victims for not carrying guns?
