 | My dream job to is become an intelligence analyst at the CIA. However, I recognize that is is a select position and it's highly unlikely that I'd be able to achieve this. So I was wondering, what other jobs or careers are related to this position that I could use as a fallback after studying International Relations in college?

 | I'm an intelligence analyst with the TN National Guard and I just got turned down for a job because of my lack of experience (I'm a SPC) / education (1 semester of college). What would be a good degree and what would be a good college to further my career as an intelligence analyst?
Sorry. I guess I should mention that I'm working full time with the Counterdrug Task Force as an intelligence analyst tracking down drug dealers.

 | I just want to know what the difference is, I'm about to start A levels and I'm considering Criminal Profiling as a career, but I've heard that its a very hard job to get into. Does anyone know how to do it, or what qualifications are needed/ how many years it takes?
and also... could anyone give me similar details for becoming a criminal intelligence analyst too, just so I can whiegh up my options?

 | I am currently majoring in criminology. I want to be an intelligence analyst. I've heard from numerous amounts of people that i should join the air force to gain experience and that it would give me a higher chance of being hired. I don't know much about the air force so i would appreciate it if you would let me know any information as to which division i should join ( if you know). Thanks in advance.

 | I'm wondering how much an entry-level/Junior intelligence analyst will make if he works for a private government contractor company in Washington DC or Northern VA? Assuming the applicant just graduated from college with a Bachelor's and has the TS clearance and intelligence analyst training courtesy of the United States Army but with no experience. Thanks alot.

 | Im going to the army as a Intelligence Analyst. I was told by my army recruit that if i get out of the military ( and keep my MOS) i have a high earnings potential. How much does a Intelligence Analyst for the DOD, CIA, FBI or Homeland Security make annually. I want to work for one of those agencies after the army if not for Intel just for Criminal Justice and National Defense. Help me out Thanks!

 | I'm starting college in the fall and I'm a little stuck on which foreign language(s) to take classes in. I want to learn the ones that would be most useful in getting the types of jobs I want - something like a CIA intelligence analyst or a job in international relations.
I'm trying to decide between Arabic, Spanish, French, and Russian. I'd really appreciate any advice or thoughts on which languages are the most useful nowadays.

 | I hate it here. The infantry sucks. I have been in the army for 8 months and need to figure out how to change my job to an intelligence analyst, or anything other than infantry. I need to change right away, so the re-enlistment option isn't possible, and I will not re-up.
Any and all help will receive a free kissing of the feet, because I am in that much need.
Thank you.
