More specifically, a child protective services social worker. I want to help abused and neglected children. I know I need my bachelors in social work, but how do I get it? Do I need to go any farther than that in my education, or will that be enough for me to find employment?

There are 2 questions. The first asks about career goals in the next 5 to 10 years. I am struggling to think of good goals to write about. The next asks to write about a major social issue that concerns me, why its so important, and what I would do as a social worker to improve the issue. Thanks for the help. If it helps, my concentration will be child protective services.

This man works for CPS and he beats his step-son. The only reason he even chose Child Protective Services as a career is because his mother is the supervisor at the local CPS office. He does not care about children. He has also been molesting his biological daughter. The fact that he works for CPS and that his mother is his supervisor has kept him protected. He needs to be investigated. We are relatives of the children in his care and we have felt powerless because of his job title. Please help, Who can we call to report him? We are in Washington State if that helps.
