I'm about to graduate college in a few months, and in the meantime I'm looking for a job as a security guard to pay my way through my last semester. I've been looking at the jobs in the paper that are willing to train you, but they all want you to have a minimum deposit of around $80 before they do it. I'm just wondering, is this normal? I've heard of people getting taken advantage of in scams that way before.

I will be joining the army soon as an infantryman for a few years but when i retire i was thinking of being a security guard. Not the kind of security guard that stands around at a k-mart all day armed with pepper spray, im talking about the kind that i will be armed with like a machine gun that will shoot anyone who shouldn't be in the area, its not because i wanna kill someone but because i want a special security job where i have to be alert and on my feet, ready for anything. That's if there is any jobs like that.

I accepted a job as a security guard for the first time. It is new to me. I will be working a 4pm-Midnight shift walking around a chemical plant and watching cameras of different areas of the plant. Is this job high stress, low stress or medium? I currently work 40 hours a week in retail in a high stress environment and I am hoping this job will be less intense.
