So I want to make a living in music, but if things get tough I'd like to have some other skill to help me support myself....something with flexible hours, doesn't require extensive eduation...that kinda thing...I've thought about CAD Drafting and web design, and I'm a good writer....are any of these on the right track? And what are some other good jobs that won't heavily interefere (and possbily help) with my career in music?

I live in El Paso where the population is predominantly mexican, i have been trying to get a job for weeks, but every job i apply for i get turned down because im not billingual. i have two kids to feed and the bills keep coming. it makes me so angry. why cant they get out and live in thier own country? they could make it like america if they like it here so much. im sure mcdonalds would open up a chain down there. i dont think you idiots understand that in america the official language is english. and just because mexicans invaded shouldnt mean that i have to learn thier language to work.

The taxpayer bailed out the banks, now the banks are harder than ever to get a new home loan. Think of all the people you put to work in a new home- framers, concrete men, plumbers, roofers, finish carpenters, carpet layers, cabinet makers, etc. plus material- lumber, wiring, windows, drywall, landscaping etc. The foreclosed homes will always be there- do something for new home construction.

I'm going to be moving there in a while and was wandering what jobs are in high demand. Going to college there and looking at some courses at home right not to get certified as an electrician, house framer, d*******r, or EKG tech. Is what I'm currently looking at, or should I just hope to be able to get some type of fast food job to pay for school.

If the founding fathers of the USA could have foresaw the moral decadence we are now experiencing as a nation, do you think they would have made our founding documents more definitive making their intentions behind that which governs us more clear ? Or did they do a good job in laying these documents out, but simply did not anticipate the twisting of the language in these documents by those trying to escape their governing authority ? Thanks in advance for your answers. God bless.

I am sort of new to oil painting, and I painted a picture on unstretched canvas. I wanted to give this picture as a gift, but I painted right up to the edges. I wanted to know if it could still be stretched and framed. I also wanted to know how much a basic 16x20 wood framing job would cost. Any ideas. Please help!

As a final project in my Painting class, we have to get two of our paintings matted or framed. Problem is, my paintings are funky sizes that are usually NOT found in off-the-shelf frames, and quite frankly, I don't have 100 dollars to spend on a custom framing job. So, any advice?
