I'm looking for a construction laborer job in the Seattle area does anyone have an idea of how to go about finding one? Any help is appreciated.Thanks!

And if they say that the job ends in September...are you guaranteed they will place you on another site? How hard are the labourer jobs? Are the 12 hour days really hard on the body?

I just got this new job at some 'Spud Shed' and now I realize that it wasn't a checkout job but it was a d**n labour jobs, and I hate labour jobs and now I want to quit after only 2 days. My 2 previous jobs were also crappy labourers jobs (they both lasted only a week). I want to work in retail, customer service or something with a 'checkout' ring to it. What recomendations can you give on how I would quit this boring dull job and where I would look for a checkout job. PLEASE HELP!

I have just learned about this and wondering what exactly is it? Do they provide training and help find you a job? I am looking for a laborer job in construction. There website talks about training but never speaks about what it has after training such as assisting in find a job?

He was in a tractor accident as a teen and crushed his hips, requiring large titanium screws to put his hips back in place. He was also wheelchair bound for several months. As an adult, he has always held a job in either pipelining or another form of laborer job. However, with age has come worsening joint pains as well as hindered movement in his hips. Because the accident didnt happen on a job site, what type of benefits is he eligible for? Permanent partial? We don't really know much about it, other than we know we need help. Thanks.

I took 2 years of welding in high school and have a 2 year welding certificate in college and i havent heard a thing about basic rigging. Now every job I'm applying for that has to do with welding 'do you have any experience with basic rigging?'. Its getting on my nerves that i keep getting turned down for welding/industrial laborer jobs because i dont know a thing about it. If it is so important shouldnt they have taught me about this in college?

Help...my son has just started a laborers job at a local boat dock. He comes home soaked with oil. What is the best solution to getting this out of his clothes???? Also....even after I have washed them twice with cleaning solutions, they still come out smelling like oil/grease. Any suggestions for that?

I have absolutely NO experience in the oil work, how hard is it to get a floorhand or laborer job? Forgot to mention I'm currently in USA and don't have a canada work permit...dont know if employers will help by offering employment letter to me so i can apply for a work permit.

I heard from someone a year or so ago that she had gone out to New Orleans, had her lodging and expenses (food, etc.) paid for while she worked disaster relief (clerical duties) out there. My son would like to go there and get a laborer job. Does anyone know someone he could call?

I just want to know what the highest earning or paying apprenticeship jobs in the country are at the moment, like how much does a first year apprentice earn and how much does it go up each year until you fully qualified, and then also how much you earn when full qualified.

I didn't get the job because I didn't have before any experience and it was not intentional and genuinely i did everything I could to get this hard labourer job with the lowest pay rate and alot to give.

The only option of a job is laborer job but thats the only job that pays enough for my needs but i'll have no time to take classes.... Im Looking for a decent paying job to pay for classes but its hard to pay for the classes and food/phone/gas.... and ideas? I'm in such a mess its sometimes unbearable

I need a fairly high paying job around bairnsdale. It needs to pay at least $300 per week (after tax), full time is fine! I can do lots of stuff from a to z, but am not qualified at much, a simple laborer job maybe? Im really good at motor mechanics, Thanks!

Many of the chronic unemployed will not apply for jobs the illegals take willingly. Would you be in favor of passing legislation requiring the chronic unemployed to get off their duffs and apply for jobs rather than have tax payers continue to take care of them.
