I haven't started graduate school yet, but I'm scared of what will happen when I do. Will I ever be able to go to grad school in the future if I drop out? I'm entering a Ph.D. program this fall. I keep thinking about how I've been just as happy doing jobs where all I need is a bachelor's (I have an engineering degree, so it's not like I have to go to grad school), and I'm not sure I have the drive to conqueor these knowledge towers in front of me. I'm also upset because my boyfriend will be starting a job 800 miles away at the same time I start school. Honestly, I want to give up on grad school and just go get a job in his city, but I already signed a lease for next year.

I int even know what people mean when they say that and if you fold the 20 dollar bill a in a certain way you can see the pentegon in flames on one side and the world trade center in flames wtb the left tower half still standing on the other side so I think that 911 was a conspiracy

My husband is in the United States Navy and we have orders to relocate to Yokosuka (Yokohama/Tokyo area), Japan in January. Since he is going to be on a ship and I will be left alone for long stretches of time I'm just wondering what I should expect or be prepared for? He is planning on purchasing a house off base. I was wondering how strong the language barrier is in the Yokohama and Tokyo area, do most Japanese know fluent English? How hard is it to pick up the Japanese lanuage? Is it easy to meet and make friends in Japan or do the cultural/language differences make it difficult? How bad are the earthquakes and tsunamis in this area? What do they do to prepare for them, do they have a warning system, like a weather alert? How easy is it to get a good job when you don't know Japanese (I am a Graphic Designer)? I have done a good deal of research on the country and the language I am just looking for some personal experience to help prepare. Any advice/info would be great! I actually dated a Japanese Foreign exchange student when I was in high school. We lost touch when I went to college due to technology issues, time difference, and his crazy school schedule. So I know a good deal of the basics. I would love to get more information from someone who is Japanese, but what I really am seeking is what is it like to be an Non Japanese speaking American living in Japan for a prolonged period of time by yourself. Thanks so much for your advise and information! Please keep it coming ; ) I don't have kids but I do have two small papillon dogs. TWIKFAT if you read this post again, what is your email?

I hold an honors degree in Architecture. Due to the economic climate, I cannot find a job with an architecture firm. I really need to make a bit of money and so was thinking about trying to get an offshore job. Would I need to retrain (apart from survival course) to get a job in the oil industry? Is there a specialism within the oil/gas industry that is relevant to my degree? Thanks.

In union (the game I play) there is a clear difference between the primary 'jobs' of the forwards and for backs. Simply, forwards do the majority of fighting for posesion with scrums rucks mauls etc. On the other hand, the backs are those who score tries, set up tries, score points, or defend against the opposition backline. Yet rugby league there is also a divide between forwards and backs, and it makes me wonder what the actual difference between forwards and backs is in league as there is no scrums, rucks, mauls etc.

All 9/11 footage was pulled shortly after the attack. The twin towers were taken out of films and tv openings. Did the attack not happen? Are we trying to forget those that died? For the prior generation, where were you when JFK was shot? Was a common bond for US citizens. We now ask, where were you on 9/11? Or do we? Do we have a common bond to day?

Singapore Government encourage foreigners to come here to solve the aging population. But this resulting in over crowded, inflation and loss of job for the local. More local will chose not to have a baby now, as most of them really can't afford. Thus encouraging so many foreigners here (1 out 5 people here are foreigners), it's a temporary solution for aging population and a time bomb for a worsen problem in the future?

I'm going to attempt to add more RAM. I found a you tube Video showing how to do it and I've been told it's simple, but not sure how to remove the casing to get inside the tower. If you have this type of computer you can see there are screws at the back. Really not sure.
