 | During working hours. My friend is mad, because he can not chew during the working times. So his retaliation is that he will take his time getting the parts to the line, He is a material handler. He takes parts to the lines and keeps them in supply. Will the supervisor noticed that he is moving slow? and move him somewhere else. Replace him w/ some one will do the job right vs. him taking his time. He real close to getting fired.

 | It seems alot of white people are more worried about what they and their people say than people of other races are worried about what they and their people say. In America, we have something called freedom of speech (I know I'm p*****g off liberals here) too many Americans have died defending it too for it to be wasted just because it makes some people cry. Alot of white comedians will censor what they say whereas black and latino comedians will go all out. Isn't that called hypocrisy? Why do people allow themselves to be swayed and peer pressured?

 | Okay, let's imagine you have just been tasked by the Dutch, English or Spanish to colonise the fictional continent of Lemuria (for the sake of this, lets say it has the same climate as Eastern Australia).
The continent is only inhabited by animals and the descendants of lost sailors from Ancient Rome and Greece who live in a society like the Celts of Britain but still with some aspects of their original communities.
How would you plan?
How many people would you take?
What would their professions be?
How many soldiers would you take?
How many ships?
What resources would you take?
What buildings would be a priority within the first few months?
How would you defend your colony?
Which landscape and land formation would you colonise first? (ie. Bay, inlet, beachy land, inland?)
Thanks!
Oh and what would you call your colony? (You can also rename the continent)
And how would you deal with the natives?
1) I would take firstly 350-400 people with me.
2) They would be masons, carpenters, farmers and soldiers.
3) I would take 100-150 soldiers.
4) 10-15 ships.
5) I would bring food to last the voyage and the first few months of colonisation.
6) First building to be built would be a fort, the next would be houses for the colonists, a port and docks and then the official buildings.
7) I would defend the colony with the fort and a series of walls and dykes around the colony. These walls and dykes would also be a priority. Also outpost towers.
8) I would first colonise a natural bay or river inlet.
9) I would name the colony (if Dutch) Nieuw Batavia, (if British) Bayland (due to the large amount of natural bays and inlets), (if Spanish) Nueva Castilla, (if French), Nouvelle Provence.
10) I would forge alliances with any natives willing to, with any hostiles I would send back for at least another 50 men and put them in their place. However I would try and conserve their culture and history a
We are from 1600s - 1700s/
Ouragan (or whatever your name is) - Do you not grasp that I was speaking from the context of the colonial days of 1600s - 1700s Europe? Apparently not. Read the question before you answer.

 | I found a water spot on my ceiling that caused a little bit of water damage, I was told that the condensation or drain pipe wasn't even connected to the outside! (never had this problem in 8 years, although a couple months ago I had the roof redone after hurricane ike)
I would like to know if this is a fair price? Seems steep to me!
